    Reach for healthy options. When I am making dinner I typically cut up an apple and munch on that while I’m cooking or eat some hummus with carrots/celery sticks.
    Munching is okay, just aim to keep it healthy 8)

Fatty

I wish I could explain just how frustrated I am with my weight and my overall appearance. I think I’ve just given up. I hate that I still have baby weight. I constantly put myself down with self deprecating thoughts. I hate my brain sometimes.

Long Overdue Update

Life has been super busy around here lately, hence the lack of blog posts. So here is an update on us!

  • Both kids are officially walking! Macie loves to walk around outside when we go to my sister’s soccer practice or at the pumpkin patch yesterday. Jackson isn’t as confident yet. I bought each of them a pair of shoes, which Macie completely hates and takes off immediately. So I ended up getting Skidders for each of them. If you aren’t familiar with them, Skidders are socks with non skid rubber bottoms. They are suppose to be a bridge between wearing no shoes to wearing regular shoes. Since they are kinda thin, I’ll have the kids wear them until it gets super cold around here and then I’ll switch them over to regular shoes. 
  • My diet has really gone down the drain. However, I’ve been exercising more, which makes me feel amazing. So I figure I’ll just keep exercising and go easy on the carbs and sweets. If I lose weight, great. If not, at least I know that I’m exercising and keeping healthy that way. I can’t continue to think that I’m not good enough because I haven’t lost every ounce of my baby weight yet. It can’t be my main focus anymore. It was majorly depressing. 

I know there is a lot more that has been going on, but I haven’t had my coffee yet so my brain is fried! More pics and posts to come!
